Judgments

Judgments can stay on a consumer's file 7 years or until the governing statute of limitations has expired.

Once Judgments are on your file, they need to be paid and marked released or satisfied by the Bureaus.  Public Record contractors gather this information for the individual Bureaus.   In the case of a judgment, if a plaintiff never informed the court of your payment to them, we can help you get the judgment corrected at the court level.   Once the court recognizes that the debt has been paid/satisfied, MCC will also correct that information at the Bureau level with the appropriate repository.

"MCC can assist a consumer who has paid a judgment and is having difficulty getting it released because the other party has not filed this release with the court."
